Blue and White Coastal Kitchen
Light blue cabinets give this simple kitchen a bright and airy coastal feel. Paired with neutral countertops and white and gray subway tile backsplash, this space is stylish and cozy. The brown tile floor anchors the otherwise light colored room and a free standing white food prep island with butcher block top adds extra workspace.
This kitchen's backsplash is clad in clear glass subway tile with strips of random linear tile sandwiched between rows to lend depth and interest. Vibrant blue accents pop against the bright white backsplash and cabinetry.
Designed to optimize on the functionality of the space, this white coastal-style kitchen is grouped into various distinct work zones. The prep zone showcases a stainless farmhouse sink illuminated by industrial-style pendants. On the other side of the island, bar-height seating provides the perfect place for breakfast.
As a focal point for this dramatic space, the design team chose beautiful Azul Macauba, a blue stone from Brazil, to top the oval-shaped island. A whimsical blue backsplash, in a swirling pattern, complements the blue counters and ties in the white cabinetry in the space.
Fresh and bright, this coastal white kitchen is an inviting gathering spot for the whole family. Neutral, Tuscan-inspired tile grounds the space, while clean white cabinets open up and lighten the space. Calcutta marble subway tile is a glamorous backsplash, and the cabinets are topped with honed Calcutta marble featuring a clean, mitered edge.
Designers took out a wall between this kitchen and a dining room and created a T-shaped kitchen island. One end of the island is prep space with a sink and countertops. The other side is a large dining area that can seat up to 8.
