Patterned Coffee Table Serving Tray With Simple Decor
The black and white pattern on this serving tray brings a mediterranean influence to the style of this simple and pretty display. The orange book cover adds a pop of color to bring dimension to the small set up.
The metallic headboards in the guest bedroom of the HGTV Design Star cast house are custom-made from pattern-printed hides, batting and blocks of wood. A rattan serving tray is prepped for an afternoon in bed with a book and cup of tea.
Soothing white walls trimmed in blue crown molding create a heavenly effect in this transitional master suite. Where the four poster canopy bed provides a luxurious space for unwinding at the end of a long day, the geometric print enlivens the room and coordinates with its green accents.
Transitional Master Bedroom With Double Tray Ceiling
This master bedroom features traditional style –– like the detailed wooden bed –– paired with modern touches. The bay window area boasts a pair of French doors and sheer gray curtains, while a double tray ceiling adds a classic finishing touch. A gray shag rug is positioned atop the dark brown hardwood floors.
Traditional Master Bedroom With Double Tray Ceiling
This master bedroom features the neutral Venetian plaster paint walls that are seen throughout the home. A double tray ceiling with white crown moldings boasts a traditional touch, while a candelabra chandelier completes the look. Gray and white linens are used on the bed to match the decorative gray nightstands on either side.
Luxurious Transitional Master Bedroom With Tray Ceiling
A textured wall treatment creates a stunning backdrop for the sophisticated bed in this transitional bedroom. The metallic gleam of the tray ceiling and bedding lends a luxurious feel to the space. A vivid purple bench and complementary throw pillows add nice touches of color.
Bed linens, window curtains and an area rug demonstrate an array of color and pattern in the master bedroom. A solid, dark wood canopy bed and stark white walls allow the multiple patterns to work together in a stylish and seamless way.
Pattern mixing is a designer's trick for bringing motion and depth into a space. From the overscaled, lattice-like shape of the FLOR tiles to the diamond stripes of the duvet cover to the geometric print of the throw pillows, pattern is used to draw the eye up from the ground, onto the bed and up to the abstract art.
To connect the master bedroom to its bathroom, the two closet doors had to be torn down and gutted to open up the space. This created the opportunity to add the window treatments as dividers, giving the room a dominant pattern.
Mixed Patterns & Textiles in Transitional Master Bedroom
As seen on HGTV's Flipping the Block, Amanda Marks and her boyfriend Curtis Goldin installed custom wainscoting around the master bedroom, creating cozy cottage vibe. Teal paint and crown molding complete the walls, while layered textiles in an array of graphic patterns adorn the room.
Bright White Master Bedroom With Patterned Curtains
Once dark and outdated, this master suite is now a *dream* with bright white walls, a chic light fixture and patterned accessories. By moving the bed to the center of the room, designer Kelly Rogers restructured the floor plan and created plenty of spaces for reading, relaxing and of course, sleeping.
Elegant Contemporary Master Bedroom With Patterned Wallpaper
Pattern doesn't have to mean an uproar of color. In this tropical-inspired bedroom, graphic wallpaper envelopes the room in a subtle elegance. A transitional love seat positioned at the end of the bed creates an offbeat seating area. The tall cornice box calls for larger nightstands – in this case, a chest of drawers and writing desk.
