Mudroom - Blue Cabinets and Bench
Next time you feel like a hoarder, look more closely at your home spaces. There are so many ideas you can employ to create storage. This mudroom is perfect for a growing family. It features a window for natural light as well as several floor to ceiling cabinets for coats and a cute bench.
White Contemporary Mudroom With White Cabinets & Built-In Bench
Designer Justine Sterling renovated a low ceiling basement space in a 1920s Colonial with a primary focus to create a small arts and crafts studio. The basement space could solve some of family’s increasing need for a place to store shoes and coats by creating a mudroom niche, a small laundry area and even an upgrade to the teeny powder room.
Updated Country Kitchen With Blue Cabinets and Window Bench Table Seating
Creamy white walls create a modern look that matches the home's angular architecture. Dark blue cabinets and purple accents add much-needed color. Bench seating in the window nook allows for the banquette table to sit to the side of the space and create a more open space.
Traditional Mudroom With Blue Cubby Storage, Brick Floor and Upper and Lower Storage Cabinets
This family wanted a space where their three boys could clean up and store their gear after a hard day’s play. Handy cubbies along this wall are equipped hanging hooks and surrounded with shelves and drawers above and below. A brick floor is decorative and low maintenance.
Thanks to LDa Architecture & Interiors' stylish surfaces and clever design, this mudroom doesn't look like a mudroom at all. Blond wood veneer covers the storage cabinets and bench; the flooring and kilim rug keep the look from feeling too stark.
The mudroom boasts a beachy feel with white shiplap walls and dark blue accents. Built-in bench seating on either side of the console table holds storage above and below and features blue cushions and striped pillows to add comfort.
Gray and White Transitional Mudroom With Built-In Bench
Floor-to-ceiling cabinets and drawers offer maximum storage to this mudroom. A built-in bench sits in the center of it all; the graphic wallpaper behind it and bright orange pillows bringing bold visual punch to the space.
Because the mudroom flows right into the kitchen, the designers used blue cabinets to make the two spaces look cohesive. The tile floors bring in the wood tones, too, and so further tie everything together.
