Smart Storage in Small Bathroom Remodeling Project
Designer Todd Davis worked two smart space-creating solutions into this small San Francisco bathroom remodeling project. A built-in cabinet conceals storage for linens and toiletries without adding any visual clutter, while a small niche in the shower space offers a spot to leave soap and shampoo without taking up much real estate.
Smart His and Her Cabinetry for Master Bathroom Storage
In keeping with the dark wood theme of the master bathroom design, this cabinet unit offers plenty of storage space for two. The custom piece spans one wall of the master bath from floor to ceiling and provides plenty of drawer and cabinet space in the center, with identical his and her cabinets and drawer space on each side. Designed by Susan Brunstrum.
A wall of built-in storage and an oversized walk-in shower bring loads of function to this elegant master bathroom, part of a 10-acre luxury estate in Fall City, Washington. Nearby, a walk-in closet is likewise loaded with custom storage options.
Give yourself options when storing toys. In this colorful and fun contemporary playroom, movable open bins secured to the wall create flexible and user-friendly storage for stuffed animals and picture books. The open floor space below the bins is smartly used for larger items, including toy trucks.
Photo boxes are an extremely inexpensive option for versatile storage. Look for them on sale at craft stores, and then stock up. Here, they’re used in the bathroom for extra supplies, like razors, toothbrushes and travel-size toiletries.

Vanities on Both Sides of Bathroom Create Symmetry and Balance
