Multicolored Sectional and Purple Carpet in a Fun Attic Media Room
This attic turned media room offers a fun place for the family to gather and the kids to play. The multicolored sectional sofa can be reconfigured and arranged in a variety of ways. The two-toned purple carpet tiles add more fun hues, but are also a practical choice for playroom flooring.
Inside the Olsons' attic oasis, Chip and his team from HGTV's hit show Elbow Room added a sitting room for the couple to enjoy. With luxurious arm chairs, each of the couple has the opportunity to relax and the benefit of a beautiful view from their window and lots of natural light.
Attic spaces can give you an opportunity to uniquely arrange rooms and to try out paint colors that may not work in other parts of the house. The orange walls and ceiling in this attic cause the space to appear larger than it really is.
The Olson residence in Sandy Springs, Georgia after the addition of a master bedroom retreat by licensed contractor Chip Wade. As part of the renovation, Chip Wade added a open air bathroom that can be viewed from all areas of the suite. By finishing the incomplete attic space, Chip Wade was able to design a spacious retreat for the homeowners to escape to when the house is feeling too crowded, as seen on HGTV's Elbow Room.
Licensed contractor Chip Wade reveals the newly transformed attic space to the Perez family. With every family member being active and involved in sports, the family felt like they were missing out on spending time together. To fix this problem, Chip Wade turned the unfinished attic space into a home gym that fits every family member's needs. The gym includes recessed treadmills, a punching bag, rock climbing wall, oversized fan, juice bar and a moveable platform, as seen on HGTV and DIY Network's Elbow Room.
This bedroom butted against attic storage, so the small space was turned into a whimsical secret play room any little girl would love. Green walls and a soft green carpet in the play space pair perfectly with the elegant green and pink bedding right outside.
An attached kitchen is a must for any event space, right? Luckily, this room off the attic is equipped with a stove, oven, large sink and moveable island (or bar cart, depending on how you look at it).
This cozy attic bedroom was insulated with spray foam then covered with sheetrock to create an open-air master suite complete with a bedroom, bathroom and seating area. The original wood floors give the room a warm feel, and are balanced nicely by clean white and coral bedding.
White makes every room look bigger – especially this lofted attic space with a soaring ceiling – because it allows light to reflect. A wooden daybed nestles up to a row of windows, and the coastal color palette and woven carpeting keep the look feeling fresh and effortless.
In this attic bedroom, the pairing of textured green wallpaper with a beamed ceiling and wainscoting creates an airy, tropical feel. Graphic-patterned fabric on the pillows, chair and window shades bring a modern touch to the room.
