With all the windows, the curved exterior wall was the only spot to mount the TV. In order to blend it with the rest of the room redesign, Patrice extended the draperies to soften the area and obscure the mounting equipment and “ground” the TV.
This dining room is completely multi-functional. A custom-designed table with a starburst center is perfect for poker night or for a formal dining setting. Four plasma screens make it easy for viewing a single or multitude of television shows. The columns sparkle in a covering of Balinese seashells. Grasscloth wallpaper covers the ceiling and adds a hint of metallic shine while a crystal chandelier drops elegantly from the mirrored ceiling.
An asymmetrical gallery wall loaded with inspirational sayings, family initials, graphic sketches and giraffes brings lightness and fun to this eclectic playroom. Retro locker-inspired cabinets almost disappear against the white wall, keeping the space from feeling too busy.
Whether you’re hosting a night of super bowl fun or catching up on your favorite shows, this wall-mounted TV is a sight to behold. “We have a really awesome 80” ultra-high definition television up in the loft, and it’s quite spectacular,” says HGTV Smart Home 2015 house planner Jack Thomasson.
Blush-colored roses bloom on the opposite side of the space, creating a display that distracts from the sleek black TV. A textured buffet table below offers storage for DVDs and complements the room's jewel-toned furnishings.
This textured stone wall is centered in a traditional living room, accented by elegant lighting and designer furnishings. Decorative wall frame molding is given a facelift by adding metallic wallpaper to the inside of the frame.
Opposite the bed, a wood accent wall enlivens and warms the crisp white interior, making the master suite feel even more comfortable. A modern fireplace, large TV and crystal chandelier add a luxe touch to the setting.
