Each corner of this living room is a treasure for the eyes, with carefully positioned furnishings that accentuate colors in a certain way. For example, the turquoise blue found at the top of the contemporary artwork in the entryway is the exact hue as the stripes of the wing chair in the living room. Likewise, deep orange is seen in the pillow on the chair, the bolster pillow on the bench and the urn on the dining room sideboard.
The homeowners wanted an open, airy space with modern and rustic touches, so designers brought in a modern take on the farmhouse table and a matching bench. On the other side of the table, three modern chairs add seating to the table bathed in natural light. For a bit of fun, designers had a turquoise accent wall painted and some fun art hung on it.
A round pedestal table holding an Asian tree is used as a living room divider and is flanked by a large beige sofa and a contemporary seating area with modern turquoise blue arm chairs. Arched window shades cover the large windows above three sets of French doors. The contemporary seating area features a zebra print rug and glass coffee table while both sections are accented with red throw pillows.
This Delaware beach home pulls out all the stops, from sliding French doors leading to an outdoor waterfront balcony to sleek ebony built-ins. With a transitional aesthetic in mind, the coastal elements are only integrated through the yellow-green and turquoise accents, the small seashell accessories and the seagrass arm chairs. Jackson Paige Interiors designed this Brentwood home with a contemporary approach but added touches of coastal style throughout the space. This family room, for example, features a soft turquoise wallpaper as an accent wall, complementary sofa pillows, along with a coffee table, end table and art that inspire one to "hit the beach." Especially fetching are the low-to-the-ground occasional chairs that have a cottage-style aesthetic.
Hot pink walls spread a diamond pattern throughout this colorful sitting room. A tufted purple bench with a circular design sits in the center of the room atop a leopard print rug. A green sofa rests against one wall, while a turquoise sofa fills a window nook on the opposite end of the room. A pair of black and white chairs completes the eclectic seating area.
Sticking to only one time period can be a little dangerous when it comes to buying second-hand furniture. You may end up with a space that looks dated rather than curated. To pull together an eclectic look be willing to mix in your flea market finds with pieces that are new (or new-ish). This 70’s dining room table feels retro cool paired with crisp white resin chairs and super-saturated turquoise rug.
There will not be a shortage of conversation around this fabulous dining table. From fun colors to exquisite details this room carries a theme all it's own and does it amazingly. This eclectic dining room features blue walls, traditional white arm chairs upholstered in turquoise blue and white stripes, and a round glass top dining table with orange legs. An upholstered bench with orange pillows and a large multi-sided mirror add to the room.
In the open design of this home, a stylish modern sitting room is situated next to the wood-saturated kitchen. A modern white leather sofa shines with natural light from the large windows on the back wall. A tufted leather chair and neutral shag rug define the perimeter of the area while keeping it open and connected to the rest of the home. A turquoise serving tray and green throw pillows add small pops of color.
This room is all about the view, but in this small beach cottage, every inch counts. Designers decided to go with an extra long sectional (for the sitting space) and a fun hanging chair in the corner. The rest of the floor plan was kept open so that people can be sitting at the many turquoise stools at the island as well as the living space without additional furniture in between. A fun assortment of various sized tables is an uncluttered look.
The clients wanted a grown-up space that they could entertain in but would stand up the wear and tear of little boys and dogs! The inspiration for this was their wedding on the beach - bright sunset orange, blues, and turquoise. Hands down it had to give them those feelings - and it did! We hunted down unique pieces all over Atlanta. The Italian leather club chairs feel very 70's lounge to me. I love them and they are insanely comfortable!
Designer Vanessa DeLeon used plush fabrics and deep gray accent pieces to put an elegant spin on this complete home remodel. The eclectic teal and black dining room features an over-dyed turquoise rug from Creative Touch in Secaucus, N.J., while the table hails from Brooklyn-based artisan woodworker Palo Samko. The neutral walls are complemented by a faux-painted black and gray ceiling and black leather chairs around a rustic hardwood dining table with mismatched candle holders and two brass pendant lights.
