To give the smaller sitting are a sense of dimension, designers installed a gray, striped accent wall. On it, mirrors were hung. Since the mirrors reflect the natural light coming through the windows as well as the surrounding design, the mirrors add depth to the space, helping to make it feel larger.
To give the homeowners a cozy place to entertain, designers brought in soft seating in neutral colors to accent the farmhouse feel of the home, while the chandelier, coffee table and end table add transitional flair to the space.
New meets old in this transitional kitchen design, beginning with the beautiful green patterned wallpaper offering a burst of color on a focal wall. The center island paired with the farmhouse table and leaded-glass window creates a sophisticated look.
