A glass table takes up less visual space than a wooden one while still providing ample room for cereal and homework. A vase of pink tulips provides a lively and welcoming contrast to the neutral decor chosen for the breakfast nook by Tiffany Brooks, Boris Eckey and Jeribai Tascoe for HGTV Star Season 8. Rustic wooden shelves make use of an empty corner and provide much-needed storage space.
Designers Boris Eckey, Tiffany Brooks, and Jeribai Tascoe dress a dining room buffet in the home of Giovanna and Eric Lawrence in Episode 804 of HGTV Star Season 8. Canvas floral artwork hangs above the buffet and is framed by a pair of glass lamps, and contestant Boris Eckey used richly-textured grasscloth to cover up the room's dated paneling behind the artwork. The lamps, clock, and peacock are from One Kings Lane.
The kitchen’s white apron-front sink has a streamlined and versatile farmhouse style. The single bowl sink with touchless faucet sits next to a stainless built-in dishwasher, surrounded by a polished quartz countertop. “I choose pure white because of all the elements that were going on, especially with the brick, the woods, the stainless steel, the paint and everything else going on,” says designer Tiffany Brooks. “I wanted to add calm there to the perimeters of the kitchen.”
This transitional kitchen remodel from HGTV Star Season 8 for homeowners Jair and Tiffany Paz features a built-in breakfast bar with a custom bar top and stool seating. Designers Abby Vasek, Anne Rue, and Brooks Atwood used plenty of warm neutrals, a window garden, and new glass-front cabinets to soften this kitchen space.
