In the guest bathroom, designers wanted to add texture to the space, so they brought in three dimensional tile. Then, they ran a metallic tile border at the top of the stall for a splash of glam in the neutral space.
In this modern bathroom, designers created visual interest in the space by adding storage. A tall cabinet bisects the two sinks in the space, providing additional storage for the homeowners. Another aspect of the room that creates visual interest is the three dimensional tile backsplash. This addition gives texture to the space, and inserts personality into this clean, modern en suite.
The Master Bedroom provides a peaceful oasis to relax and rewind. A king-sized bed adds comfort, while large nightstands provide plenty of practical storage space. In the corner, of the room, a cozy, modern chair gives the homeowners a space to read and relax other than the bed. For a final touch of luxury, the headboard accent wall created out of a three dimensional tile that has a very soft feel and accentuated the warm, neutral tones throughout the room, allowing the accents with hints of red to really pop in the space.
The three-dimensional wall tiles in this dining nook are actually made from a recycled byproduct of sugar cane processing. The individual tiles fit together to form a seamless pattern and are easily installed using construction grade double-stick adhesive tape.
The owners of this high-rise apartment wanted a functional, modern kitchen, so designers revamped the original galley kitchen to give them what they needed. The galley design provides counter space on each side of the room, allowing for plenty of prep space, while new upper and lower cabinets add storage. Outdated appliances were replaced with new, stainless steel versions. To get the modern look homeowners had hoped for, designers made use of the natural light that comes into the space from the bay windows overlooking the city. Then, they installed two-toned cabinets, a three dimensional tile backsplash and a modern breakfast area to provide the elegant, modern design the homeowners longed for.
In the foyer, designers wanted to make a bold statement with the space's design, so they brought in crisp, white flowers to contrast with the dark wall tile. The wall tile gives the space a three dimensional effect and relief with lighting. Finally, a custom designed, modern console table was crafted out of dark and white woods to help seamlessly transition the design from white to dark.
The three-dimensional texture of the wood-clad accent wall -- which looks almost wavy -- brings a unique and sophisticated feel to this living room. An ornate chandelier is made from multiple glass panels shaped like leaves, adding a natural softness. The tile fireplace surround is subtle but detailed and rich.
The dark wood finish of the bar exterior wall brings depth to the light, cool tones of this contemporary kitchen. The gray scale tile backsplash blends beautifully with the gray cabinets and the neutral wall color. White leather barstools are placed at the bar creating an eat-in space with a view of the room. A three dimensional rock display on the wall adds style-fitting decor.
The kitchen’s focal point backsplash includes deep emerald hexagon-shaped ceramic tiles with lots of movement. “They add texture and they’re very, very three-dimensional,” says designer Tiffany Brooks.
