A smaller family room gives the home another living space. The neutral space was given gray paint, while an accent wall with textured wallpaper adds dimension to the room. To give this space plenty of seating, a large, gray sectional rests across from the modern, black entertainment center and television.

On one side of the room, an armoire conceals a television, and on the other side a piano rests between two windows that allow in plenty of natural light. This design makes this living room the perfect place to practice a sonata, have a movie night or just relax with friends.
In the living room of this sorority house, designers created a functional, yet stylish space. With plenty of neutral seating, the space is warm and inviting. On one side of the room, a dark armoire conceals a television, giving the girls a place to store movies and games. On either side of the armoire, two seating areas give the space additional seating for work or play.
To give this Midcentury Modern living room personality and depth, designers added funky pattern, unique accents and cool textures to the space. A leopard print chair and blue patterned couch soften the space, making it feel intimate, while the modern furnishings, such as the end table and lamp, continue the modern design. Along the back wall, stone has been carried halfway up the wall. This stone conceals the television and also serves as a display for some of the modern art in the space, while the large giraffe statue draws the eye to this part of the space.
A neutral area rug pads the open floor space in this comfy living room set up. Neutral arm chairs and a gray-brown sectional turn in toward the fireplace and mounted TV. A white topped coffee table pulls the white of the fireplace surround into the room and highlights the midcentury modern design inspiration.
A wall of pickled pecky cypress houses three flat-screen televisions in this coastal living room. Motorized TV covers slide over the televisions when not in use. Geometric-patterned armchairs and a neutral sofa create a cozy sitting area, which is well-lit by multiple surrounding windows.
In the new master suite, a porch has been enclosed to create a private television room for the couple. Across from the custom built navy shelves that hold the television and some of the couple's books and decorations is a huge, plush couch so that the couple can enjoy their time in their private television nook.
This guest bedroom gets a new gig as a television room that hits all the right notes with its color sky blue color scheme. Designer Casey Noble constructs a built-in bookcase and entertainment center to maximize the floor space in the room. Soft white draperies diffuse the natural light spilling over the seating area.The new built-in cabinetry, which includes a long shelf and seven drawers, is great for storing media and fits neatly into the interior wall of the room.
This dark gray living room is perfect for entertaining. Designed with Art Deco influences, it features a brown sofa with nailhead trim, a stylish end table, a metal coffee table, hardwood flooring, and a wooden console table that supports a big-screen television. The room also features a large picture window and a black baby grand piano.
Once inside the man-cave, the cool angles and architectural features clearly identifies it as a former attic space. The room is accessorized with black and white images of career milestones and nostalgic art that references the homeowner's home town. There are two seating areas, a game table, a live edge counter with four barstools and of course a massive television. This room meets the needs of whatever type of guests our homeowner is hosting. There are four large club chairs for casual business meetings, a comfy sofa for lounging, or we can fill every seat for a big sporting event. Every element in this room has a purpose, but we still managed to inject good design principals into finishes, the space plan and overall mood to ensure a great result.
Tucked away from the hustle and bustle of this oceanfront home is this lovely media room where one can watch television or play video games in comfortable repose. Designed by TriplePoint Design Build, this long, narrow room features a black leather sectional, media console and flatscreen television. Hanging on the wall is a foursome of abstract art that anchors the room's unusual dimensions.
