A temperature-controlled wine tasting room features rustic brick walls, built-in wine racks and octagonal tile flooring. In the center of the room is a wine barrel table paired with leather-and-wood bar stools.
This room housed a piano and was rarely being used when we began this project. Due to the growing collection of wine, we were inspired to turn this into the ultimate wine tasting room. We designed a custom wine storage tasting island with waterfall sides, figured walnut bottle storage and bar service stations, painted the walls a deeper shade of gray for a more intimate atmosphere and completed it with a caviar style pendant.

The kitchen in this Oregon vineyard estate home turns into a public tasting room on weekends. To allow for privacy when desired, and openness when needed, a drop-down screen was installed to use during "wine tasting" hours to partition off the kitchen. When the homeowners want a more open flow, the screen retracts into the ceiling, a great idea for any home with an open kitchen that is sometimes better left unseen.
Frameless glass panels enclose the striking wine room in this lower-level entertainment space. A small tasting table wraps a structural column adjacent to the wine room, so guests can taste-test before selecting their drink of choice.
A sleek tasting table is constructed with the same wood as the structural column it wraps for a seamless design. The small table offers a convenient spot for taste-testing wines from the adjacent wine room.
Upholstered chairs surround a small, round table just outside the wine cellar in this basement. The wine tasting area, which boasts a rustic vibe, is perfect for entertaining. Bold artwork beckons from the connecting music room.
