This open floor plan contemporary home is a private estate located at Seven Canyons of Sedona, Arizona. The space is created to fit the natural beauty if the site. The design offers an environment that incorporates natural materials.
To keep the grounds sustainable, the landscaping incorporated permeable paving, mulches, recycled materials, locally sourced and site-salvaged materials and low maintenance, low-water demand and drought-tolerant plants.
The house's beautiful water features echo the creeks and ponds in the forests nearby. This runnel lies directly beneath the eaves of the house. As the water travels north along the façade it bisects a stone wall and falls into a metal basin.
Rustic stone lines the lower half of this bathroom and is the backsplash for the tub and the countertop for the vanity. The resulting look is simple but perfectly appealing with luxe details like the deep soaking tub.
The house has practically an entire wing dedicated to entertaining and relaxing: There's a bar and lounge, a wine cellar, a game room, a movie theater and of course a top-of-the-line audio-visual system.
