Splurge on thick, 100 percent cotton bath towels, washcloths and hand towels for your guests. A great tip is to buy guest towels in a color different from your regular towels so you'll always have the "good" towels ready for overnight guests. These guest towels have been livened up with addition of colorful bands of ribbon the help dress up the bathroom. (And they color coordinate with the rubber duckies!) Hoping to please a young single bachelor with a keen eye for modern and contemporary design, Justine Sterling set out to modernize his open plan living space and also provide her client with a functional design. The narrow living room space was one of the biggest challenges in the space planning. Here, Sterling designed a small work space and sitting area with built-in bookshelves around the fireplace to neatly display books and personal treasures.

This transformation of a low ceiling basement space in a 1920s Colonial primary focus was to create a studio. Designer Justine Sterling gave the space a fresh, contemporary update and included a place for the kids to read.
