To create a designated laundry and mudroom for this home, designers repurposed part of the garage. They raised the floor, framed in walls and added heated floors (heavenly!). Doors: Sherwin Williams Pure White; Blue cabinets: Sherwin Williams Smoky Azurite; Mirror: Anthropologie; Hooks and cabinet pulls: Anthropologie
Handsomely adorned in luxurious wood and traditional pulls, this masculine closet is certainly well dressed. A wall of cubbies provide custom organization while smaller drawers and extended storage creates a staging area for the smaller pieces like watches, ties or cufflinks.
To make this powder room a welcoming space for guests and residents, designers replaced boring brown walls with blue patterned wallpaper from Serena and Lily. Cabinets were painted in a complementary shade of blue. A textured mirror adds depth.
Thick quartz countertops are lovely atop this powder room vanity. For graphic panache, dark blue wallpaper does the job handsomely. Designers expanded the once-tiny space by incorporating the square footage of a little-used closet.
To make this kitchen feel lighter, designers installed glass-front cabinets and open shelving and added two new windows. Cabinets: Acadia Craft; Appliances: Wolf ; Backsplash tile: DalTile Picket; Wall paint: Sherwin Williams Repose Gray
This kitchen alcove used to hold a washer and dryer. Designers moved both to a new laundry room and turned this space into a much-needed pantry. Painting the shelves gray is a tasteful way to dress them up.
The biggest problems to be solved in this kitchen makeover? Not enough storage or useable space. For a lighter, more open feel, designers framed the range with two windows repurposed from another part of the house. Ceiling-high cabinets were given glass doors, more shelving with an airy look!
Atlanta's A. Wooten Interiors designed this strikingly contemporary open kitchen where a side by side refrigerator and freezer are hidden behind wooden doors and a pantry with staging counter is accessed via the black glass-paned door.
The black-and-white design scheme in this master bathroom extends from the geometric wall tiles to the marble flooring. A modern, round soaking tub provides the perfect place to relax after a long day beneath the long, rectangular window.
A mini butler's pantry adjacent to this dining room provides just enough space for meal staging and overflow flotsam. It also takes advantage of an odd cranny that might have gone to waste with built-in cabinetry and counter space.
