It's amazing to think that this contemporary outdoor space was once a forgotten unused area. The design firm, A Blade of Grass, kept some existing materials, including the wood decking. The existing fence was updated with horizontal cedar cladding, which provided a clean, uniform backdrop. Garden stools also are an affordable, bold accent for a patio.
This upstairs living area overlooks the lower floor from glass walls, making the smaller space feel spacious and open. Grainy gray fabric on the sofa and armless chair create a lovely textural look to offset the smooth white walls and hardwood flooring. A modern square coffee table features a solid black base with a glass tabletop.
A coffee table with swiveling tops adds versatility and function in this modern living space built for entertaining. Glass tabletops visually open up the space and connect with the wall-length windows. A white leather sofa offers stylish seating.
This open contemporary great room sitting area features a glass-top cofee table with river-rock base, a neutral woven area rug and a white shiplap ceiling with recessed lighting. The space also includes a sofa with contemporary lamp and end table.
