The overall style of Sarah and John’s great room and kitchen is contemporary, organic and rustic. To add a touch of farmhouse charm, a simple Mason jar was repurposed as a soap dispenser by drilling a hole into the lid, then inserting a pump from a discarded plastic soap container.
This spacious bathroom features a double vanity with white Shaker style cabinets and neutral countertops. Orange hand towels and soap dispensers add bold color accents, while ample windows allow natural light to illuminate the space. A drop-in bathtub provides the perfect spot for relaxing.
The powder room’s sink features a round basin with a subtly textured shagreen design with a muddy green finish for a serious style statement. A marbleized soap dispenser and small glass vases with fresh cuttings on each side of the sink decorate the uncluttered top of the vanity.
Opulence is the key word in this marble-clad powder room. From the sleek vanity with mirrored doors, to the decorative and dramatic floor tiles, to the textured wallpaper and deep crown molding, no surface is left unadorned. Even the vessel sink and soap dispenser get in on the marble theme.
The kitchen’s spacious undermount stainless steel sink includes an exposed hose pull-down faucet in black stainless with advanced technology that allows a simple touch of the faucet to start or stop the flow of water. The sink area also includes a coordinating soap dispenser in the same modern finish.
A storage solution for streamlined bathrooms, the Alchemi series from Dezi Home includes a simple, multi-functional wall-mounted rail that works as a towel holder or shelving system depending on how you install it. Horizontally it works as an organizer for a soap dish, soap dispenser and toothbrush holder, vertically it can be used to hold rolled towels.
Even something as simple as a new tray and soap dispenser can spruce up your counter style in a moment. Add a fragrance, like incense or an oil burner, and a color-coordinated tissue box and you have an instant update that packs an unexpected visual punch. This bathroom, designed by Stephanie A. Bruntz of Studio B. Design, was a 2016 National Kitchen + Bath Association Design Competition winner.
