A mosaic insert on this shower seat breaks up the wall of Calacatta marble tile and makes an ideal spot to set bath necessities. Shelving behind the clawfoot tub keeps miscellaneous items equally handy for soakers.
The retro Airstream trailer set the stage for this backyard barbecue shower, providing a cool backdrop for the festivities. If you don't have access to something like this, you can always create a backdrop that sets the tone for your event - like a desert landscape, a big red barn or countryside using a photo printed on large canvas. This way it can also double as a backdrop for a photobooth!
Mosaic tile set in diagonal rows creates an eye-catching niche for the shower head in this traditional shower. Marble sheathing the walls is interrupted by a decorative border, adding interest and drawing the eye throughout the space.
Send guests home with individual bottles of locally made BBQ sauce as wonderfully themed and memorable favors.
"The sunflowers that dotted the entire shower not only add drama and color, says Lukomski - but also helps set the mood of the party. Sunflowers were the perfect choice for our casual BabyQ because they tied in with the rustic and laid back vibe."
As delightful as the real thing, but a lot more useful for the parents-to-be - these charming "cupcakes" are crafted with baby socks and onesies. The party host sent instructions to guests who wanted to make the adorable "cakes" to bring to the event and set out as decor throughout the day. Later, they were packed up for the parents to take home.
The white palette in this space helps create a sense of cleanliness and balance. This master bathroom features a walk-in shower, inset mirror and marble counters with mixed storage underneath. It has a classic look that is made for function.
To make the most of the space in the master bathroom, designers set the shower back into the wall so as not to take up too much square footage. To highlight this fixture, teal tile outlines run the perimeter of the shower, defining the space.
Black and white tiles make this walk-in shower a visually stunning feature of this modern bathroom. The honeycomb black tile floor offsets the white rectangular tile walls. Black and white patterned soap inset and shower seat give an artistic flair, while black-framed glass creates a bold look. Brass fixtures add bold touches.
A tranquil 5-Star boutique hotel experience set the tone for this master bedroom remodel which we designed for a busy couple with kids in a Boston suburb. The master suite project involved moving walls for a closet expansion, a bathroom gut job, and removing all traces of the dark, dated furnishings that closed in the space. We used a neutral base palette with soft blue touches and layered in heirloom-quality textiles, elegant lighting, and lots of texture.
