Clever hanging storage maximizes space in the universal design bathroom. “We had a situation where the floor and all of the walls are tiled and no place to put anything you need to have in a bathroom, so we came up with this shelving idea that David Brown built for us that is modern looking, clean, simple and it really feels perfect in this room,” says interior designer Linda Woodrum.
Homeowners wanted a simple shelving unit to help them maintain their garden, so designers built integrated steel and cedar shelving welded onto corrugated panel fencing that connects to the fence. These shelves add an area to pot and store gardening supplies next to the raised vegetable planting beds.
White linens and a silver tray with glass jars for toiletry items give this stylish bathroom a hotel-inspired look, while a single cabinet beneath the shelves provides a concealed spot to store extra knickknacks.
The nook also includes two rustic galvanized metal wall shelves with hooks that offer an attractive way to display a potted plant, framed modern art and practical household items with carved wood and Scandinavian style.
