To incorporate vintage pieces at budget-friendly prices, the designers of this living room rescued two Ib Kofod-Larsen "Seal" armchairs and refurbished them with leather bought from a wholesale tannery.
As seen on Love It or List It, Too, Emily and Gary's family room was stripped to the bone, which gave designer Jillian Harris the opportunity to create an amazing space. High ceilings and large french doors create a light, airy feel, while touches such as the refurbished fireplace, wood beams, and vintage inspired wallpaper add to the coziness of the space.
In the refurbished master bathroom, designers used painted wood paneling as a backsplash, then paired it with quartz countertops and warm wood cabinetry. Hexagonal floor tiles are a subtle layer of pattern.
To keep the formal dining area cohesive in style with the family room as well as the breakfast nook, it is painted in the same navy blue. Framed photography, refurbished vintage chairs and a cool wooden table give personality to the space.
