For structural reasons, the designers of this kitchen remodel had to keep this wall that leads into the dining room. To make it more interesting than sheetrock, and play off of the homeowners' love for all things industrial, they created custom steel panels and used reclaimed fir for the beam and post.
To create the custom kitchen table, designers use the bases for two vintage Saarinen Tulip table. Then, they added a reclaimed Douglas Fir top. Surrounding the table, designers brought in ten vintage Hans Wegner chairs, and for the finishing touch, a Lindsay Adelman chandelier gives the space a splash of modern design.
