A raised water feature with colored lighting, Tuscan style wok pots and fountain bubblers is the focal point of this pool and spa. Lounge chairs lined with yellow cushions and red throw pillows add a pop of color to the patio area.
An arc-shaped pool with a spa is built into the hillside, where cascading water gently rolls over the Misty Rose flagstone veneered pool wall, producing a calming effect. The infinity edge is designed to spill into a raised trough that doubles as a sitting area and water sculpture.
This master bath's existing raised-panel cabinets were replaced with custom maple cabinets and a large freestanding maple armoire. A standing shower and large bathtub give this bathroom a spa-like feel.
The design is full of exquisite amenities such as: a large pool and spa veneered with vibrant glass tile throughout, an elaborate sports bar with multiple plasma screens, full cooking and dining options, surround sound, agronomic heaters, cozy sunken fireplace room and a raised fire pit lounge with vast, open views.
Beautiful sunsets are seen from this wonderful covered loggia in the backyard. With its vaulted ceiling, multiple seating options, nearby BBQ counter and refreshing fountain feature, this space gets used daily. From early morning coffee, to enjoying a nice BBQ with family and friends, and of course, the vast Pacific Ocean at your finger tips, there are many reasons why this space is truly an extension of the home.
Keeping views open was an obvious goal, but setting up the spa waterline at just the right height where it would line up with the ocean beyond was a bit tricky. By raising the patio and subsequently the spa by twelve (12"), it allowed enough height for the spa water to blend perfectly with the ocean beyond.
