You don’t need a big screen in order to enlarge what’s on your phone. Slide your device into this cardboard box with a glass lens (what?!), then project whatever’s on-screen onto the surface of your choice. It’ll blow up the image to as much as 8x magnification. Can you say, “movie night”?
Projecteo allows you to turn images from your Instagram account into an old-school slide show. Pick nine photos, and they’ll be developed onto a Barbie-size slide wheel and sent with a reusable, battery-powered mini projector with an LED light.
To replace the water damaged living room, John and Anthony of Cousins on Call designed a functional, modern space for the Miller family. A funky wood wall becomes a focal point in the room. On that wall rests a modern, oversized sofa. On the opposite wall, the cousins designed a custom fireplace and have set up a projector screen instead of a television.
A wood-burning stove is framed by two brick columns while light shines through two adjacent windows, giving balance to the neutral-toned room. A projector mounted above the sofa across the room replaces a traditional television.
Natural lines in the wall and tile floor provide a backdrop for the natural colored living room sofa and chairs, pulling in the soft wood colors of the wall behind. A movie projector overhead completes the cinematic experience.
Miss the experience of seeing flicks at the drive-in? Bring movies to your backyard instead. A projector, screen and surround sound are all you need in the AV department, and theater seats evoke the feeling of the multiplex.
