Pool decking becomes the countertop as it flows into the pool house. A bench spans the width of the pool. The three arches house both screens and shutters. To deal with drainage into the building, there's a strip drain system along the perimeter of the floor. Water drains by gravity into the landscape on the north side of the pool house. The sunken design creates challenges but it unifies the pool and indoor areas seamlessly.
This client had purchased an old house and wanted to fully renovate the pool and make it a contemporary style. The classic and straight lines of the pool match the poolhouse.
