Part of what makes this kitchen so visually interesting is the way designer Caitlin Murray paired moody black countertops with pastel pink cabinets. The contrast is especially striking when set against the crisp white walls.
Designers set this kitchen stage with a wash of pastels: pink walls and island, gray backsplash, white countertops. Then, for a playful edge, they layered bold pops of color on top; bright rugs, a blue door, pendants in sherbet shades bringing in so much fun.
This cheery kids' playroom features sunny yellow walls paired with white wall paneling, a fun green accent strip and tulip wall decals. A pink pretend play kitchen set lines one wall, while a white wooden table and chairs sits at the center of the room.
Gorgeous pink and orange flower arrangements in silver vases decorate this kitchen table. A set of crystal stemware with a purple-blue etched floral design is woven throughout the setup, while natural light illuminates the space.
The previous kitchen in the couple's home was small and closed in with very little countertop or cabinet space. Brio Interior Design's renovations, though, have replaced the outdated stock cabinets and formica countertops with modern, custom cabinets and an elegant butcher block countertop. One set of lower cabinets extends across the exterior wall, while another set was created across the open kitchen to provide plenty of storage and counter space. The lower cabinets are painted black in warm contrast with the white subway tile walls and white upper cabinets. Details such as the beautiful pink flower and brass fixtures bring an exotic feel to the space.
