The paver walkway narrows and widens, adding interest to the renovated landscape and exterior of a Minnesota home. Southview Design laid out the red brick pavers in a soldier course pattern and selected a lighter tone for the walkway's border. Modular retaining walls with wide steps and landings extend the home's architecture to the street.
This coastal home's front yard boasts native and Florida-friendly plants, creating an inviting entrance. A planter strip of dwarf Mondo grass stabilizes the surrounding soil and minimizes the amount of pavers used in the driveway area.
Stone pavers extend the walking space through the landscaped backyard and into a delightful wooded area. The well-crafted pathway highlights the expansive and scenic property for the homeowners and their guests.
Colorful glazed concrete blocks brighten the wall as visitors approach the front door of this modern beach house. Underfoot, large concrete pavers are situated in a bed of loose river pebbles, carving out a walkway.
Offset and somewhat hidden away from the front of this majestic home is a side driveway and three spacious garage entrances for the homeowner. The garage doors are arched and fabricated from weathered wood to blend with the rest of the home. The landscaping here, as designed by Mark Scott and Associates, is simple but camouflages the utilitarian purposes of the space.
