The interior of this contemporary home is huge, so designers used rugs to help visually delineate dining and living areas. The pretty graphic patterns pick up the earth tones that are so lovely in the hardwood floor and cypress ceiling.
The foundation of this beautiful home is white walls paired with wood ceilings and hardwood floors. To give a visual lift to the neutral base, the designers brought in graphic patterns via rugs and colors through artwork, accessories, even houseplants!
To create a kitchen that's capable of entertaining and feels friendly enough for every day, designers incorporated durable, unfussy Caesarstone countertops, white oak millwork and adjustable lighting. The subtle light fixtures help the room transition gracefully from day to night.
In planning this kitchen, the designers had a unique challenge: The husband of the family is 6'4" and the wife is 5'3". To make the space user-friendly for both, a higher vent hood was installed, upper cabinets were lowered slightly and drawers were placed under the countertops for easy visibility.
