We knew we had to add a darker tone into the stair runner. The rug is hand-knotted wool made by J.D. Staron, the Gopala Collection, and looks like linen so it adds an unexpected design detail to the stairs, pulling in the turquoise tone from the light fixture," says Caroline Grant and Dolores Suarez of Dekar Design.
