White two-column balusters guide the wood banister between decorative wood newel posts. Natural light over the pastel sea green walls and white window trim makes for a light space. A subtle stained glass trim on the windows compliments the gorgeous frosted stained glass finish of the singular pendant light hanging above.
Sea green walls create a soft frame in the natural light of this staircase hallway. A warm yellow lampshade over the table lamp draws out the yellow coloring of the stain glass trim surrounding the windows. A wood table fills the space and provides support for a simple display to decorate the area.
This breakfast room features reproduction 19th century French floral wallpaper. Window frames and trim have been painted apple green. Green and white check fabric has been used to upholster the dining chairs and a brass chandelier completes the room.
Both the living room and dining room have a softened color scheme with the ceilings and walls painted the same shade of green-gray and window trim painted in a similar tone. "The trim is actually two shades darker, but when you see them together, they look like they're the same," says designer Brian Patrick Flynn.
The old, worn carpeting was removed, and the room now features dark stained hardwood flooring and area rugs. The low windows get new white trim, and the bead board on the walls and ceiling are painted in a muted gray-green.
The newly white painted arched windows in the family room that Leanne and Steve Ford renovated together, painting the trim on the windows a bright white created a much more bright and airy room as seen on Restored by the Fords.
