A blend of contemporary and modern design, this master bedroom screams sophistication. A daybed upholstered in the same fabric as the bed linens pairs with a mod yellow chair and matching ottoman to create a chic seating area at the foot of the bed. Pops of orange in the piping, headboard and artwork is a nice complement to the mostly neutral color scheme.
This master bedroom is imbued with a warm ambiance thanks to an orange and gold color scheme. The room's primary colors are carried through in the bedding, window treatments, artwork and armchair. The bed has a silk-upholstered headboard with a silver-leaf frame, while a nearby built-in provides ample storage space.
This master bedroom, designed by Claire Paquin, features a corner nook with a modern chair and ottoman that continues the theme for this room of comfort and relaxation. The furniture is covered in an attractive white and gray pattern, and a lacquered end table was placed next to the piece. A plain neutral Roman shade completes the look.
Prior to the makeover, this master bedroom was in contractor-grade condition, from its neutral carpet to the beige paint on its walls. Taking inspiration from its colorful abstract art, the room received a new identity with shades of blue accented with fire-engine red. The paper lantern light fixtures add lightness to this otherwise masculine bedroom.
The bedside cabinets and master bed are custom pieces designed by Habachy Designs. The bed has a sophisticated, channeled headboard with wood trim. Even in a neutral and white space, warmth was created through the mixture of old and new. There is a big mix of vintage pieces with new designs. The vintage desk chair is brass and zebra hide and phenomenally crafted with its skinny, curved and tapered legs.
In the corner of this master retreat, a plush blue chaise and wood burning fireplace provide a cozy place to relax and read a book (or two). Subtle gold accents and pops of hot pink add fun feminine flair to the space.
This charming bedroom features an electric orange upholstered headboard with coordinating stools. Painting the attic's sloped ceilings white helps reflect bright light throughout the space. A black wicker chair for reading and a small desk make this space multipurpose.
This bright and breezy master bedroom is an addition to a formerly drab, dated bungalow in Jamestown, a small island off the coast of Rhode Island. The whole-house renovation turned the space into a bright and charming home painted in bright whites and soft blues, reflecting the owner's love of the ocean. In this space, a sitting area leads to a cozy bedroom nook with white furniture and ample light.
A combination of textures was used to give a sense of serenity to this modern master bedroom. A custom night chest was accented with leather pulls and gives balance to the height of the one-of-a-kind button-tufted upholstered headboard.
In the master bedroom, large windows frame the space, making the room feel bright and open. Two chaise lounges give the homeowners a lovely view of their surroundings without ever having to leave their oasis, while an oriental rug and orange accents help to add color and personality to this elegant, Asian inspired master bedroom.
