This elegant country kitchen fashioned in the style of an English manor features a high ceiling with exposed beams and large window, a kitchen island with pendant lighting, hardwood floors, tiled backsplash and an abundance of cabinet space. Varied cabinet heights prevent an artificial ceiling line from isolating the vaulted ceiling, allowing it to flow more naturally.
The custom wood headboard in this stylish master bedroom extends out from the bed into built-in nightstands. White walls and floors capitalize on the spacious design and allow the scenic view from the window to act as a natural accent. A piece of graffiti art complements the urban environment while adding a touch of bright color.
This spacious, white living room stuns from floor to ceiling with luxe, transitional details. Exposed white beams create beautiful dimension in the space, with a classic teardrop chandelier in the center. A fireplace with white mantel is flanked by oversized windows filling the space with lots of natural light. A bold, blue geometric patterned area rug extends from one neutral sofa to the other, each sharing the glass-topped coffee table.
Black barstools, countertops and a range hood create contrast against the white cabinets and light gray walls in this contemporary kitchen. A solid piece of Douglas fir is raised above the countertop on the kitchen island, providing a spot for casual dining. The wood paneled ceiling, which coordinates with the island and flooring, brings warmth to the dynamic space.
Fixer Upper Hosts Chip and Joanna Gaines turned the once disastrous room into a bright, clean kitchen with new cabinets, wood floors, Carrera marble countertops and light gray paint with white trim. The old drop ceiling was removed, adding height to the room, and a wooden support beam was added. A subway tile backsplash, floating wood shelves and stainless steel appliances were also installed. Client Clint Harper added the finishing touches to the kitchen by making a beautiful island and vent hood out of reclaimed wood, as seen on HGTV's Fixer Upper.
As seen on HGTV's hit show, Fixer Upper, the focal point in the living room is the custom made fireplace. The wood and stone structure brings Joanna's rustic design into the living room, while also reflecting the warmth of the natural light that spills in through the windows from outside.
Multiple water features combine on this Minnesota patio with a pergola: a water fountain, hot tub and an outdoor shower. The fountain, which has underwater lighting, and flooring are made of New York bluestone. The pergola is made of fiberglass columns, cedar timbers and wood beam rafters. The outdoor shower was added by Southview Design in the second phase.
Long, sheer curtains allow natural light to flow in from the two story windows into this stylish contemporary living room. A patterned armchair, neutral leather chair and neutral sofa with faux fur throw create a mix of cozy seating. A row of grated stools add an asian style detail to the design. The seating circles around a wood based coffee table with square glass tabletop.
A neutral color palette causes warm wood floors to pop in this traditional Brooklyn kitchen. A prep sink in the island conveniently backs up to the cooktop, and a long, farmhouse-style dining table offers a great spot for entertaining. French doors, large windows and transom windows allow ample light to flow throughout the space.
A dramatic chandelier hanging above a solid walnut dining table creates a specific balance and eye-catching elegance to the open-floor plan of the living space. Sizable sliding glass doors let in natural light to mingle with light from the custom fixture’s more than 25 individual lamps. The solid walnut dining table featured is by Jeff Newell of Newell Design Studio, while Custom Dessin Fournir chairs upholstered in kid-friendly Joseph Noble fabric completes the dining ensemble.
The parents are avid bicycle riders, and they wanted their son's room to reflect their love. This pristine kitchen features custom everything, from the marble backsplash that extends to the ceiling to the integrated appliances to the range hood to the dual islands, one for prep and one for dining. The beamed ceiling continues into a hearth room that opens to a gorgeous water view. Wide-plank wood floors mix with glossy natural stone to bring the space a chic mix of rustic and modern details.
A neutral color palette is highlighted by natural light and subtle yellow and red accents in this Asian-inspired living room. A white sofa with black sides is decorated with yellow and neutral throw pillows, and above the sofa, a long panel of artwork adds additional yellow to the space. A white coffee table, brown leather chair and tripod floor lamp complete the design.

A floor-to-ceiling purple drape opens to reveal a small seating area and dressing room just outside the guest room closet. Extra seating is added with a small violet ottoman that elevates the closet into a true dressing room.
The vision for the space was to create a livable, functional space for the homeowners. Their love for modern design paired perfectly with the quaint cottage architecture and geography of the home. By removing the one wall in the space that used to define the kitchen, the designers were able to open the floor plan up and maximize the square footage and natural lighting.
