Minimally decorated walls provide the perfect canvas for this comfortable living room with beautiful views of the surrounding outdoors. The natural light which flows into the space enhances the warm wooden details in this minimalist space.
New energy-efficient windows a bit bigger than before on each side of the bed and another by the seating area have crisp white roman shades that offer control over the level of natural light in the room.
A large, round dining table maximizes the space in this contemporary loft dining room without making the area feel too cramped. The rich tones of the dining chairs and sideboard warm up the space, and a wall-sized window fills the room with natural light.
The windows above the area allows the natural light to flow in, while the bar details have gorgeous cobalt blue details that accentuate the agate stone bar top. To keep the design consistent throughout the restaurant, designers continued the Pecky Cypress wood on the ceiling and highlighted the cobalt blue throughout the space.
To create a larger, more open feeling to this master bathroom, designers took full advantage of the large window, positioning the bed in front of the window, creating a focal point. To help the homeowners control the natural light let into their space, designers hung curtains to act as a diffuser. Comfort was added to the space with a soft, velvet rug and a fuzzy blanket and pillows, while the unique artwork adds texture.
The windows scattered across the home's rear elevation allow plenty of natural light to come into the home's interior spaces, while allowing the view of the home's backyard to take center stage-even from the inside of the house.
As seen on Good Bones, designers Karen E. Laine and Mina Starsiak added walls to this home to bring in more natural light to the space, highlighting the elegant, industrial design these ladies pulled off in this dining room.
