Teal is a tough color to use without completely overwhelming a space. But if you stick with teals that are close to the aqua family, you'll find them rather versatile. The floating vanity, white half wall and white tile shower add light elements to balance the room. The mounted horns and animal head bring a masculine side to the design and compliment the brown flooring.
This contemporary living room features a textured gray wall with mounted animal heads boasting metallic horns. Metallic pendant lights hang low beside the white tufted sofa with nailhead trim. Red, thin-striped pillows bring a splash of color to the room, while faux fur white pillows add a fun texture.
This neutral contemporary living room pairs stylish essentials with eclectic touches. A twisted horn antelope wall mount hangs over the checkered tile fireplace, while two high-back armchairs are positioned in front, providing a cozy spot for relaxing.
Habachy Designs wanted to create depth through texture. The chandelier is made from natural Nguni cow horn in Africa, the table is made of solid wood and clad in antique brass and textured. The dining chairs have a clean, modern silhouette but are slipcovered to give a more casual look. The atom bowl holding succulents is made of iron and hand-crafted which gives it more character. Accessories throughout the space are artifacts and imported pieces from Africa and Asia. The vintage lion door knocker was an accessory that was found, custom mounted and had a stand built specifically to showcase the piece on the mantel.
