As seen on season 1 of Sarah Sees Potential, designer Sarah Richardson borrowed 15 square feet from the adjacent guest bedroom to carve out space for this spa-like bathroom vanity. To give the room a first class feel, Sarah added a large silver-framed round mirror, a mosaic tile backsplash and a floating, custom-built wood cabinet with plenty of storage space.
Cherry wood walls create a warm feel in this modern space. Cabinets blend into the wall creating a smooth look. Small blue and green tile decorates the wall behind the vanity. A neutral countertop matches the neutral tile flooring.
Clean lines and minimal fixtures give this bathroom a modern, luxurious style. The sleek vessel sinks sit atop a sandy colored marble counter that blends seamlessly with the walls, while dark wood cabinet doors add contrast to the space. Recessed lights and small chandeliers keep the space from feeling flat and large. Gray tiles give the entire bathroom a spa-like feel.
This neutral bathroom features a medium grain wooden vanity with a white countertop and double sinks. A large mirror is positioned overhead, as well as three scones that illuminate the space. Light gray tiles cover the floor.
Adding a simple stripe of bold -- such as orange -- paint is an easy way to turn a neutral space into one that pops with panache. Seen in the mirror's reflection, a striking painting echoes the color of the stripe, completing the colorful bathroom.
Sleek woodgrain cabinets are a perfect fit for the airy feel of this modern bathroom. They match the tall armoire reflected in the large mirror panel. Black marble countertop provides a contrast to the light neutral tones in the design. Square stainless steel faucets fit the modern design.
The family is very concerned about reducing their footprint, so they wanted their renovated house to reflect that concern. They installed windows all around the room to let in lots of natural light and reduce their dependence on electricity. They then commissioned a custom modern vanity made from sustainably harvested hardwood and limestone.
A faux cracked mirror gives a unique, distressed quality to this vanity display. An antique, distressed table is countered with a fluffy, contemporary faux fur seat cover. A mod, midcentury modern pendant light casts a light pattern on the wall and illuminates the feminine flair of this design.
This modern bathroom for two was designed with large dark tiles on the walls, gorgeous light hardwood planks on the floor, a contemporary his and hers vanity, two large mirrors and wall-mounted lighting. A Southwestern patterned area rug complements the variety of textiles in the space while adding a touch of personality and warmth.
