Classic and contemporary elements meet in this sleek, clean-lined home. Weathered wood and Oriental carpets form a pleasing contrast with gallery-white walls and modern glass-and-metal doors, windows and stair rails.
As seen on HGTV’s Fixer Upper, this entry courtyard’s modern design was enhanced by painting the brick light gray and the door a contemporary blue-black. Natural wood support beams, no-fuss landscaping and a herringbone-pattern wood walkway complete the look.
Upon entering the apartment one is welcomed into an open space housing the living room, dining area and a feature bar wall. This bar wall was custom-designed to add more storage to the apartment and cater to the client's love of hosting and entertaining guests. White upper cabinets contrast the wood finish on the lower cabinets, creating an aesthetic accent. LED accent lighting highlights one of the homeowner's favorite paintings.
A simple glass door provides entry to this modern home. Concrete floors add an industrial vibe to the space, while textured art decorates one side of the wall. A bold orange vase brings a fun pop of color to the minimalist entryway.
