Lining the aisles and forming the altar, white rose petals pair with acrylic candle holders to create a romantic ambience for this indoor ceremony. To complement the chic, modern design, create a striking focal point by using a colorful floral arrangement to top the mantel.
As seen on season 1 of Sarah Sees Potential, designer Sarah Richardson borrowed 15 square feet from the adjacent guest bedroom to carve out space for this chic bathroom vanity. To give the room a first class feel, Sarah added a large silver-framed round mirror, a mosaic tile backsplash and a floating, custom-built wood cabinet with sleek modern hardware and plenty of extra storage. At the far end of this spa bathroom sits a cozy soaking tub with a built-in ledge perfect for holding candles or a glass of wine. A small, linear gallery wall adds color to the monochromatic space and boosts the room's spa-like ambiance.
Shower shelves provide decoration and storage in the shower. These stainless steel shelves are fit into a shower designed by Lori Carroll in Tucson, Ariz. They hold necessities like shampoo, conditioner and sponges on the inside of the shower and decor like candles on the outside.
This living room sitting area features two cane armchairs positioned in front of a traditional console table. A colorful modern painting hangs above, while two glass hurricane candle holders sit atop the table. A nearby coffee table boasts decorative books and flowers.
“I’ve always imagined spending a snow-filled Christmas in a cozy mountain cabin, so I decided to pretend that’s where we were hanging out when I created this tablescape,” says Katie Nathey of Mountain Modern Life.
“Most of the table decor came from shopping our home,” Nathey says, “such as the vintage Mason jars and candle holders.” The napkins were made out of leftover fabric, and she added liquid gold leaf to glam up thrifted glasses.
