Designer SuzAnn Kletzien's client requested a starburst mirror in the design plan, so Kletzien positioned a starburst mirror collage on a navy accent wall in the living room. She also reupholstered an egg chair in a deep blue velvet fabric and had a custom ottoman built with a removable tray in the center for drinks and snacks.
A simple collage of the homeowners' favorite keepsakes creates a statement in this cottage-style living room. Designer Tip: Collages do not have to be just pictures. Try mixing in mirrors, children's handprints, artwork, silhouettes, announcements, monograms and favorite sayings.
Soft teal walls create a great contrast against the curtains made from bright coral fabric for a color palette that's not typical for a little girl's room. Decorative plates match the mirror's cutout above the bookshelf. A white armchair and white wicker ottoman provide a comfortable place to read.
The open concept dining room has a sense of rusticity to the design with gray hardwood floor and wood beams. A traditional round table allows for six to dine in style. Contemporary details such as the chandelier and mirrored collage on the back wall complete the beautiful look by Raegan Ford Interiors.
Sitting behind a taupe velvet sofa in this living room is a starburst mirror collage positioned on a navy accent wall. Designer SuzAnn Kletzien also reupholstered an egg chair in a navy velvet fabric and had a custom ottoman made with a removable tray in the center. Glass doors provide access to the condo's balcony area.
A custom vanity in rich Jacobean-stained alder with a marine varnish sets off fresh white sinks and vintage-inspired fixtures in this traditional bathroom. The focal point of the space is the collage of mirrors, which breaks up the large wall above the vanity in a new and exciting way.
Plenty of crisp white molding, woodwork and paint look somehow modern when paired with Galasso's thrift store, floor sample and store clearance finds. Here a clever collage of mirrors leading up to her home's second floor makes use of painted white frames for design cohesion.
A thin black pencil-like floral pattern wall embellishment adds design and style to this white bookshelf. The design is heavy enough to make an impact, but understated enough to not disrupt the quaint, artistic display on the shelving. In addition to books, candlesticks, a glass collage mirror and sculpture art bring some color to the space.
The shiplap walls in the family room paired with the distressed wooden mirrors speaks to a casual luxury that is the intended overall mood of the home’s decor. We were as focused on comfort and approachability as we were on making it aesthetically pleasing. In the collage of nine teak wood framed mirrors, no two are exactly alike. The natural wood tones are echoed by the side table’s zebra wood facade. My fave detail in this image is the smart and simple tailoring on the sofa.
