This transitional guest suite bathroom is designed as a second master suite in this 2014 Tampa Bay Showcase Home. The home features Tuscan-inspired design, so designer Don Sharp brings elements of the style into the bathroom with earthy brown floor tile, a dark wood vanity and pops of soft blue in the art and window treatments.
The dark teal walls in the master bedroom pop and add contrast compared the simple black and white color scheme found in the bathroom. Together the two spaces create a relaxed and timeless master suite.
This master suite exudes elegance with its glass shower door and glass vessel sinks. The bedroom and bathroom are combined, creating a massive master suite. A 6-foot-long lacquered vanity, encased in matte marble, offers his and hers sinks as well as a backlit vanity mirror. The traditional cabinet face is modernized with linear pulls.
Designer Genevieve Gorder converted an outdated bathroom into a modern bathroom for her master suite on HGTV's "Genevieve's Renovation." Floor-to-ceiling stripes create added visual interest in the shower and accentuate a shining gold shower head.
