This chic hall features metal pom pom wall sculptures positioned above a metallic console table with brown striped wallpaper as a backdrop. Recessed lighting illuminates the glossy tile floors, while a built-in wall shelf provides a spot for displaying collectible figurine sculptures.
A corner banquette just off the kitchen is a convenient place for breakfast and light meals. Here, an L-shaped banquette features nail head trim and a collection of earthenware jugs, animal figurines and plates. The distressed table and checked pillows are classically French country.
This lovely girls bedroom is a soothing space perfect for any little girl. Blue and pink pillows and bed linens compliment the light blue wall and blue and white patterned floor. A pink floral glass chandelier highlights the pink ceiling, providing a lovely contrast to the rest of the space. Oversized windows with simple lace curtains allow plenty of natural light. A yellow nightstand brings in a pop of color and serves as an excellent space for a unique sculptured figurine bed lamp.
Ironically enough, before even knowing what the room was once used for, designer Young Huh envisioned it as an art studio—the overhead lighting is that good! Her magical design, called “Young at Art,” explores the allure of an artist’s studio. The walls are covered with Fromental’s Braque (a large-scale collage inspired by Cubism) while a Mason Gerard easel and an array of abstract art complete the design.
The closet, painted a bold pink and filled with cans of paint and figurine palm trees, was a happy surprise.
