More than a traditional golf cart, this all-purpose cart that comes with HGTV Dream Home 2020 includes a premium steering wheel, canopy top, fold-down cargo deck with 400-pound load capacity, LED headlights, taillights, brake lights and more.
Designed by Design Platform, this beautiful modern kitchen makes a dramatic statement with its floor-to-ceiling dark wood cabinetry and strong artwork. Designers added LED wall wash lights for an ambient effect, and the three round pendant lights that hang from the ceiling harmonizes with the room's color palette as they soften its linear lines.
As part of the Virginia Green Lodging program, The Hollady House in Orange, Va., is dedicated to proactively reducing their carbon footprint. One of the ways they do this during the holidays is "by using Forever Lights, which are made from LED bulbs. They last for thousands of hours longer than traditional lights and use almost 80 percent less electricity." Photo courtesy of The Holladay House
Most of the countertops in this kitchen are fantasy brown granite marble. The stone is durable like granite, with the consistency of marble, but doesn't stain as easily as marble does. The light fixtures seen here were created by a London artist; LED tubes snap into the various rods and clips.
The designer of this mountain home wanted the living room to feel cozy and be a modern twist on a rustic cabin look. Teal chairs by Joybird bring in an energetic pop of color that's carried through the space via matching accessories. A six-arm LED chandelier makes a modern lighting statement overhead. This renovated bathroom feels like a fresh, spa-like retreat where the owners can relax and unwind after a long day's work. Ashe marble on the floors and walls creates a smooth, clean design. As seen on HGTV's House Hunters Renovation, homeowners Karen Mizrahi and Diana Lovati decided to square off the steps that led into the master bedroom of their Tarzana, California, home and install a dark, engineered wood floor. They also painted the walls in neutral gray tones, which gave the room a cool, restful feeling. Lots of natural light comes in through French doors which lead to the backyard.
Decorative lanterns, vintage or new, are one of the easiest and most attractive ways to add lighting to an outdoor space. Cluster them on the dining table, group them at points around the edges of the space or line them up on a wall — the options are many and varied. You can use real wax candles or outdoor LED “candles.” The San Nicola Lantern shown here, $99, from Grandin Road, comes with three battery-operated flameless candles.
A mother and daughter gingersnap empire that has been featured on ABC World News Tonight, CNN and The Today Show, Susansnaps is the brainchild of mother Laura and daughter Susan Stachler. Laura was looking for a cookie that would help with nausea when Susan was battling cancer. Her cookie research led to gingersnaps which the now cancer-free entrepreneur Susan produces with her mother in a variety of flavors (Cocoasnaps, Pnuttersnaps, Citrussnaps, Alohasnaps and original) in their cheerful red, white and black combo storefront and bake shop in Sandy Springs (next door to Calyroad Creamery, another great local foodie destination). Susansnaps ships all over the country, but why not stop in at the cute brick and mortar shop to try the free samples and pick up some bags of this locally produced delight?
