This stylish sitting room features two neutral leather swivel chairs that face a metal railing looking out over the living room. A plush area rug sits atop the neutral hardwood floors, while recessed lighting illuminates the space.
Subtle accents create a quirky feel in this crisp and clean, contemporary den. Geometric floating shelves are a fun retro touch while a large, leather swivel chair in gray leather is a sleek and sophisticated focal point. Fresh white walls are an ideal backdrop for showcasing the owners personal art collection.
A neutral palette provides a backdrop for dramatic turquoise and burnt orange accents in this transitional, beachside living room. The homeowners wished for a relaxing, versatile space for reading, hanging out and entertaining friends. Display cabinets and storage nooks add extra function to the room, and custom teal leather swivel chairs allow easy conversation and enjoyment of ocean views. Reclaimed wood niches maximize seating in the room.
This family room, painted in Benjamin Moore "super white," features Hunter Douglas plantation shutters, a leather sofa, two white swivel chairs, an industrial coffee table, a tall stone fireplace, and a built-in entertainment center with concealed behind white barn doors.
The playful palette in this family room starts with swivel chairs' colorful Schumacher fabric. Leather poufs from Serena & Lily pick up the orange; the turquoise carries through to the ottoman as well as the Hable Construction window shade.
Sheer draperies give privacy without blocking light and can easily be pulled back when desired to enjoy the cabana’s view. A large custom sectional provides comfortable seating or napping, while a corner swivel chair can be maneuvered for conversing with friends or viewing the pool. A faux leather ottoman serves as a table or extra seating.
This chair is one half of five different sets of swivels in the house. We sourced the chairs for the room’s original design scheme and simply had them reupholstered for the update. The Jim Thompson, cut velvet applied to the chairs’ outside back was also used for the window cornice, which cleverly conceals motorized linen shades that help to control sun exposure. For the interior and seat, we used a solid velvet inspired by the accent fabric and finished clean with a coordinating leather welt. The plant thriving in the background was a gift given to the homeowners on their wedding day, over twenty-five years ago.
