The small cottage lake house boasts a loft guest space that houses two twin beds, plenty of built-in storage, access to a kitchenette, a dining table, a desk and a dresser. To fit all of this functionality into the private space without making it feel cluttered, designers exposed the high ceilings and used an elegant, neutral color palette.
In their New York offices, Pereira & O'Dell have made the most of their limited space. To the left, individual work stations for staffers are lined up in front of the conference room that is set apart by glass paneled walls, aiding in the modern feel of the space. In the back of the space, a kitchenette, complete with tables and chairs for the staffers to enjoy their lunches, is nestled to provide a space for preparation and storage of food.
