Creative Spaces Interior Design crafted this teenage retreat using color and eclectic furnishings for the family room. The turquoise blue of the walls and the cornflower blue of the sofa anchor the space allowing the strong stripe of the room's back wall to take center stage. The room's area rugs, pillows and artwork pick up the colors in the stripes (orange, kelly green, royal blue and yellow) for an overall pleasing effect.
Warm wood paneling hides the refrigerator and blends with the surrounding cabinetry in this traditional kitchen. A large wine refrigerator provides plenty of space for wine storage, while double ovens make cooking and baking for guests a cinch.
To make this charming kitchen as functional as possible, interior designer Linda Woodrum opted for a triangle-style workspace. “When I think of smart design, I think of wisely designing a home that functions well on a high level, so that’s what Kelly Mockingbird, the design coordinator, and I tried to do through this whole process,” explains Linda. “It works well. Everything is in that small triangle, and it’s just very usable and functional.”
This beautiful kitchen expertly maintains the warmth and traditional elegance of the 1935 Federal-style manor in which it resides. An island provides additional prep and dining space, while a stone fireplace keeps the room feeling cozy on cool days and nights.
Black distressed cabinets, a few lightened with custom leaded glass panels, provide a gorgeous backdrop for this traditional kitchen. An island with a warm wood countertop is paired with upholstered barstools, providing a cozy dining spot for three.

A glamorous white and gold centerpiece is key to dressing up this formal dining room for Christmas. Blue velvet gourds give the design a touch of color and echo the hues of the painting over the fireplace.
Tall ceilings and walls of windows make this sitting room perfect for showing off the family tree. To ensure that everything looked festive yet cohesive, designer Robin LaMonte decorated the tree with blue and cream ornaments, which complement the room's tasteful furnishings.
A contemporary blue, white and gold study is adorned with blue chaises from Bjork Studio and custom blue and gold pillows with fabric from Holland & Sherry. The round Halcyon chandelier by Kelly Wearstler dazzles with its mix of quartz and brass while a serpentine mirror by Rose Tarlow ensnares a fireplace. The study by J. Wheeler Designs was part of the 2017 Atlanta Homes & Lifestyles Home for the Holidays Designer Showhouse.
Double doors shine all on their own, but designer Robin LaMonte paired these beauties with bright red bows and matching wreaths to make her client's front porch even more special. A doormat monogrammed with an "I" nods to the family's last name and keeps the elements at bay.
Patterned curtains frame the tree on either side, providing symmetry during the day and privacy at night. Because they hang higher than the window, these treatments elongate the sitting room and make it seem larger.
