To keep the space looking modern, all the appliances are situated in the lower cabinets, and the stove finds its home in the set of cabinets that faces the ocean view, so the homeowners can enjoy their beautiful surroundings.
The designer bumped out the sinks to create different depths, added an arched toe kick and used beaded inset cabinets to give this vanity a furniture look. Combining the large drawers into one large cabinet and adding mirrors to the doors makes the fixture look custom built.
The master bath was dark, had no storage and just didn’t function well for this growing family.
A floating white vanity was selected versus a traditional sink cabinet to give the illusion of more space. The new vanity with drawers already provided so much more storage than the old pedestal sink, but designer Susie Herr and her team gave them even more storage with an extra wide inset medicine cabinet.

The long island with neutral granite countertop serves as a dining table surrounded by wood dining chairs with white leather seat cushions. A tile backsplash gives a subtle quilt-like look between the cabinetry.
Designed by Design Platform, this sitting room, situated adjacent to the kitchen, features custom built-ins with bookcases, white lacquer media storage and a bar hidden behind push-to-open cabinet doors. The furnishings here are comfortable and inviting for family and guests alike.
A small butler pantry is tucked between double ovens and a concealed refrigerator in this traditional kitchen. The black cabinetry with under-cabinet lighting sets the space apart from the rest of the open plan kitchen.
