These floating cones are a sweet way to decorate for an ice cream party! You’ll need: latex balloons, a bottle of latex balloon sealant, helium tank, ribbon, scissors, craft knife, brown craft paper, brown wide-tip marker, pencil and double-sided tape.
Present dessert in a new way by serving single ice cream scoops in cupcake liners. You’ll need a variety of ice cream flavors, an ice cream scoop, small garnish bowls and cupcake liners in different colors. Place the liners inside the garnish bowls; then add a single scoop of ice cream to each one. The kids can eat the ice cream directly from the liners or with small spoons to help eliminate messes.
Cupcakes baked and served in ice cream cones are sure to be crowd pleasers. Gather the following ingredients for this yummy treat: 1 box of cake mix, 1 container of frosting, 24 ice cream cones with flat bottoms and small flowers or other cake garnishes.
Another excellent project to keep kids active at the tail end of a party is an ice cream cone flower parting gift. To make these, they’ll need eight to 10 carnations, one cherry and a plastic waffle cone for each guest. Have them place pre-cut white carnations inside of the plastic cone, add approximately 1/2 cup of water inside, then place a cherry on the top. Assign some kids to assemble the cones and others to deliver them to guests as they exit the party.
