Whether you’re hosting a night of super bowl fun or catching up on your favorite shows, this wall-mounted TV is a sight to behold. “We have a really awesome 80” ultra-high definition television up in the loft, and it’s quite spectacular,” says HGTV Smart Home 2015 house planner Jack Thomasson.
HGTV Smart Home 2019 is located in Dallas, Texas: a city bursting with activities for the whole family. Dallas has plenty to do for its younger visitors and residents. Educational, creative and just plain fun are all on the agenda, with some kid-approved food to help us power up (or power down).
Sand and sea come to mind when gazing at the exterior of the HGTV Smart Home 2013. Located in Jacksonville, Fla., the home is full of coastal character: turquoise accents, tropical landscaping and a large front porch. The palm tree detail on the porch railing adds a touch of whimsy to the home's entrance.
The blue color palette of the HGTV Smart Home 2013 interior begins on the front porch with accent pillows and dishes. Gray rocking chairs and an iron-clad wood end table create a cozy spot for enjoying the outdoors. A pine porch railing features a palm tree motif adds character to this Florida home.
A mix of blues and crisp white creates a beachy feel in the kitchen of HGTV Smart Home 2013. The cottage-style cabinets and quartz countertops are bright white, while the island, walls and kitchenware are varying shades of teal. The clear glass subway tile backsplash picks up on the blue tones of the room.
The stylish entry creates the perfect first impression for HGTV Smart Home 2019 in Dallas, Texas. A geometric porcelain tile design inset within the white oak hardwood floor packs a visual punch, Old World-style chandeliers illuminate the space from above, and custom framed black and white photography captures images of the local area.
Beneath a large flat-screen television sits a wooden storage shelf that is both functional and aesthetically pleasing in the HGTV Smart Home 2015 master bedroom. Because the TV is conveniently mounted to the wall, the top of the shelf is reserved for a few lovely pieces, including a delicate orchid and white table lamp.
Making this HGTV Smart Home 2019 kitchen super user-friendly, the base cabinets include a hanging pan organizer with lid storage in a black nickel finish, a soft close mixer/appliance lift and a 50-quart double pullout waste container system. The kitchen also includes a 24-inch double cutlery drawer that keeps utensils organized.
The HGTV Smart Home 2014 living room and kitchen/dining combination uses a blue and white color scheme to unite the space. The rooms separate instinctively with the staircase and soffit in the center of the room. A large chandelier with six freestanding candles over the dining table is an unexpected but attractive room addition.
Daybeds with curtains are great for extra seating as well as slumber parties. We’ve totally encased the beds in curtains,” says HGTV Smart Home 2015 designer Linda Woodrum. “They become private little rooms, but you could also lie there and watch TV. This is like the slumber party mecca or super bowl party room.”
Fun and youthful, the kids bedroom at HGTV Smart Home 2013 celebrates life at the beach with tropical-print fabrics and a color palette drawn from the sea. Replace the skateboard on the wall with traditional artwork and dress the cottage-style twin poster beds in classic fabrics, and the space becomes ideal for adult guests.
The perfect pairing of vintage and contemporary, pendant lights become the piece de la resistance in the kitchen of HGTV Smart Home 2013. The walls, ceiling and the island cabinet base boast a vibrant beachy-blue hue that invites relaxation. The 6-foot island, capped in quartz, serves as both workspace and casual-chic dining area.
Neutral walls and dark hardwood floors set the foundation for the loft living area of HGTV Smart Home 2013. A rustic wood dresser with long iron drawer handles holds two green jars under a mounted television. A lime green chair, brown and white chevron pillow and brown and white rug add eye-catching color and pattern to the space.
Colorful and comfy, these gorgeous blue sectionals are just begging to be enjoyed. According to HGTV Smart Home 2015 designer Linda Woodrum, “We never sit on the furniture, but of all the houses we have ever worked on, this is the hardest place not to sit at the end of those long days, because it’s very cool!”
Neon house numbers are a fun touch that make a big statement and make sure guests can always find their way. “Our white neon street numbers on the front of the house are very cool,” says HGTV Smart Home 2015 house planner Jack Thomasson. “They were fabricated locally; there’s kind of a neon story here in Austin.”
HGTV Smart Home 2019 is located in Dallas, Texas: a city bursting with activities for the whole family, like the Dallas Zoo. The Dallas Zoo opened in 1888 with two deer and two mountain lions; now it has 2,000 animals and a million visitors a year. There’s a lot to see and do at this popular Dallas attraction.
This eclectic teal dining room from the HGTV Smart Home 2013 features an artistic vibe, pairing together a formal dining room table, industrial chandelier and wall-to-wall dark brown china closet with glass front cabinets. Bright blue glass candlesticks are used as a centerpiece, while a sheer curtain is used to divide the dining and living spaces.
“The goal is always to maximize space and get as much storage as possible, so you can get things put away and not have them out,” says designer Linda Woodrum of the HGTV Smart Home 2015 master closet design. “The more places you have to put things, the less clutter you have out, and it just makes everything look better.”
