This Nashville homeowner is one member of an up-and-coming music duo who desired a writing room where she and her partner could retreat and create beautiful music. This space was perfect for such an oasis because of all the windows that let in tons of natural light, making the space bright, warm and inviting.
As seen on HGTV's Fixer Upper, this extra room was transformed into a work space that doubles as a music room. This space is the perfect place to create-light, warm, inviting. So the homeowners can work from home, Joanna picked out a beautifully rustic desk and chair, paired with a suede couch that is professional enough for a business meeting, but comfortable enough for an impromptu concert.
To make this writing room feel comfortable for the girls, designers added plush furniture in the space, including these black and pink patterned ottomans that add a glamorous, girly touch to the space.
Designers transformed the building's former classrooms into the bedrooms for these homeowners. Instead of splitting the space into five bedrooms-one for each child-designers decided to leave the room open and create a wall with six bunk beds. These bed spaces are given some privacy with curtains to give each boy their own space.
This bedroom takes on a rockstar theme with a "STAR" wall hanging, guitar pillows and spotlight tripod lamps positioned on either side of the bed. The plum hue seen on the curtains and bed linens makes it way into the sitting area with a faux fur rug. A tufted white leather chair provides the perfect spot for guitar practice.
