Architectural relics from 19th century France were upcycled to make this canopy bed which features an upholstered headboard and damask duvet cover. Pastel shades of blue, rose, gold and peach are repeated in the walls, rug, bedding and furniture. The polenta armoire dates to the eighteenth-century Italian and is from the Piedmont region, south of Milan.
This master bedroom has a soothing green and taupe palette. The four poster bed is accented overhead with a chandelier and matchstick blinds on the window. Curtains and the duvet cover add to the garden appeal.
"I do think green is making a comeback" says Boston designer Honey Collins of this tranquil bedroom whose tailored canopy bed and hand-painted fabric on the duvet cover and upholstered chair bring a sense of luxury to the space.
This master bedroom is an oasis of creams and seafoam green. The upholstered wall is lit from a hidden soffit above, and the fabric matches the duvet cover. The trim on the edge of the upholstered wall is implemented in the Roman shade. The soft calming colors along with a padded headboard and footboard truly create an escape from the rest of the world.
