Taking cues from the botanical prints and loveseat on the other side of the room, the designers brought in a piece of green artwork. Thanks to its large size and subtle hue, the piece easily enlivens the suite.
A locally sourced abstract painting provides a visually interesting focal point in the guest bedroom and intense pops of color. “As you come in the garage door, you see this room and you’re trying to pull the eye in to explore and that is why we chose that painting. It has a lot of that green, turquoise, a splash of orange and some black so it’s always a kind of fun game with art,” says interior designer Linda Woodrum.
With a variety of artwork to brighten the white walls, this modern landing invites guests to stop and reflect on the images. A bold print depicting red stockings, pink pumps and green paint is particularly eye-catching. Its black background and white frame complement the stairwell's palette, resulting in a seamless transition from one level to the next.

This whimsical sitting room is full of interest thanks to layers of antiques and artwork. By keeping the accents within the same general color palette -- bright red, green and pops of blue -- the designers ensured that the various patterns would look cohesive.
Two cookbooks serve as the platform that holds a piece of landscape art in this traditional kitchen vignette. A neutral tile wall and granite countertop allow the green and orange accents in the art and cookbooks to shine.
Against the wall, a large canvas brings swirls of blue, green and yellow to the dining area. Notice, too, how its different colors complement the kitchen's barstools and so tie the two spaces together.
