Mint green walls give a soft base to this living room and provides a beautiful complimentary color to the coral details. A coral chandelier with natural stick texture hangs between ceiling beams over the large tufted coffee table. A pair of armchairs echo the coral shade in their wavy striped pattern. A simple white sofa is brought to life with decorative throw pillows, and a large textured area rug covers the floor.
This bold two-tone design is perfect for an energetic and fun kid's bedroom. Green and blue elements are used in every part of the room design from the wall paint to the bed linens. A lime green arm chair pops against the blue rug. Patterned pillows on the bed, chair and window seat bring a cozy plushness to the room.
Decorative throw pillows add green and blue accents to the attractive neutral design of this contemporary living room. A white mantel frames the black brick fireplace surround. A pair of patterned gray armchairs face into the modern plastic coffee table. A gray shag rug adds additional texture.
A white coffered ceiling and light sea green walls create a soft frame for the deeper tones and heavier furniture used to decorate this living room. Hunter green tiles create a fireplace surround while the brown tile hearth compliments the wood mantel. Thick wood arm chairs are padded with beige cushions and turned in to face the rich wood coffee table centered in the room.
On HGTV's Brother Vs. Brother Stayce spent $12,200 of the budget on brand-new flooring throughout this living room and adjacent dining room. The newly made-over living room features a cream sofa, brown leather arm chair, and a light green accent wall behind the tile-framed fireplace. Red and orange paisley throw pillows add warm color.
To create a multifunctional seating area in an attorney’s home office, designer Tim Barber chose a flexible mix of vintage and reproduction pieces. “For a room versatile enough to prepare a brief, host tea with friends, steer fundraising projects, help with homework and occasionally accommodate overflow guests, we designed a plan with pieces light enough to be moved easily — and durable enough to survive frequent rearranging (nothing too precious here),” he says. “The sofa is a Lino Comfort sleeper from Design Within Reach, which makes the office a convertible guest bedroom in a pinch. We love the deep seat cushions and low flat arms: perfect for a power nap. The chairs are vintage 1957 Knoll Saarinen armchairs, reupholstered in Kravet fabric. The Saarinen cocktail table is a reproduction from Room & Board.”
All natural venner and wall stone form an outdoor living room under a cedar roof structure and LED lighting. Wicker arm chairs and a matching sofa surround a wooden coffee table facing the arched fireplace and mounted television. Neutral cushions are accented with green throw pillows.
